OPEN AUDITIONS

Dates: Sat 27 & Sun 28 April
Times: 10am to 6pm

If you would like to take part in our big outdoor production for this year’s Earagail Arts Festival please come along to our open auditions this weekend. There’s no need to pre-register or prepare anything in advance – just come along anytime between 10am to 6pm Saturday or Sunday.

We are looking for actors, musicians, dancers, circus performers, prop makers, etc.

Novice performers are also welcome.

Suitable for ages 18+.

Shaking the Tale is An Grianán Theatre’s co-production with Parrabbola (UK) of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale.

A play, live music, a garden party, a feast and even a ferry crossing for the Inishowen performances! This promises to be a memorable experience for all involved.

The Winter’s Tale will be a large scale, immersive production which will cross the borders, the traditions and the waters of the North West.

Our Letterkenny performances will take place in Ballymacool Town Park (Fri 19 to Sun 21 July) while our Inishowen performances (Tues 23 & Wed 24 July) will take place either side of the Foyle with the show including a ferry ride from Greencastle to Magilligan and back.

The Winter’s Tale tells the story of two kingdoms divided by an ocean, Sicilia and Bohemia; two kings, raised together, but at odds without reason, a wronged queen, a lost princess, prison sentences, tragic deaths, a bear and ocean voyages.
