Following yesterday evening’s announcement by An Taoiseach that Donegal will be moving into Level 3 of the government’s Plan for Living with COVID-19, we regret that this means audiences will not be permitted to attend the performances we have planned between now and the 16th October. Please bear with us as we rearrange those shows, we will be in touch with all ticket holders as soon as we can.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the teams involved in these productions for their dedication, imagination and resilience over the past weeks and months, and to our staff who have worked so hard to make An Grianán Theatre the safe environment it is. It takes a lot of work, preparation and planning to bring shows to the stage and we remain committed to having these productions here as soon as it is safe to do so.
The theatre, including our box office and cafe, will remain closed to the public for the duration of the level 3 restrictions – we hope to reopen again on Monday 19 October assuming that the current restriction level is eased.
In the meantime please wash your hands, wear a mask, limit your contacts and maintain social distancing. Together we can get through this.
