As part of our commitment to younger audiences, An Grianán will have a weekend show for children in each of February, March and April.
It starts this Saturday 18th February at 11am with Kyle Riley’s Little Folk – On the Road this Saturday at 11am. Perfect for 2 to 7 year olds, Little Folk features his award winning original children’s music, catchy kids tunes and some proper sing-along songs. It’s a foot stomping, hand clapping and jumping good time.

March brings the hugely popular Joe The Magician, from RTÉ Junior, on Sunday 26th March at 3pm, and it’s recommended for ages 4 right up to 12. Joe’s show fuses laugh out loud comedy magic with absolutely jaw dropping spectacular illusions live on stage. It’s a rollercoaster theatrical ride that reinvents children’s entertainment. Tables will fly, a friendly ghost will magically fly into the audience and charm kids and grownups alike! Joe will even make it snow live on stage! That’s just for starters!

The RTÉJunior theme continues in April, when Jay Ryan brings Living With a Fairy to the An Grianán stage. With a simple but magical setting and a multitude of instruments, the ‘Living with a Fairy’ live show celebrates our tradition of storytelling and children’s imagination. The show is ideal for young children up to the age of 10 but can be enjoyed by anyone who loves the magic of stories and live music. It’s on Saturday 15th April at midday.
