Meet Isaac Quinn
Isaac Quinn (he/they) is a theatremaker, writer, and performer based in Strabane, Co. Tyrone. His past credits include: Transforming Stages and Brewing Showcase (Outburst Queer Arts Festival); Finalist for George B Miller Award (Scripts Ireland); Long-Listed for Theatre503’s International Playwright Award for “Writing Exorcise”; and Play In A Day (Skelpie Limmer Productions). He is also a spoken word poet and public speaker, having performed at The Pride Monologues (Foyle Pride) and the rally against puberty blocker ban.
His first play, “Writing Exorcise”, was workshopped with funding from the Lyric Theatre in Belfast and the University of Atypical. His current play, “Retardant”, has been developed with An Grianán’s Acorns Programme and was performed in August at An Grianán and the Nerve Centre in Derry. He’s thrilled to be a part of the Young Curators programme for the next year and a half.
Meet Bridget Salaja
Bridget recently graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in Drama and English and plans to pursue a Master’s in Media and Broadcast Production, also at Queen’s.
Currently serving as the president of Queen’s University Players, Bridget leads a committee that produces student-led theatre. She was recently nominated for Best Director at the Irish Student Drama Awards and hopes to continue developing her passion for theatre-making.
With a strong interest in arts administration and event planning, she is both excited and grateful to be part of the Young Curators Programme.
