Call for Expressions of Interest

Freelance Social Media Officer An Grianán Theatre is seeking to engage the dynamic talents and services of a Social Media Officer to work alongside our team upon the delivery of our PEACEPLUS-funded initiative, The Viewing Project.

The Remit

This person will be responsible for the development of a cohesive, high-impact aesthetic language for the promotion of The Viewing Project online. They will champion cross-platform branding to ensure a consistent visual identity across all digital channels, tailoring content to maximise engagement on each platform.

Key responsibilities will include:

Visual Asset Creation: Designing high-quality social media tiles, graphics, and digital assets that align with the project’s core themes and funding compliance.

Video Content Production: Concepting, filming, and editing engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and compiling comprehensive showreels that showcase the powerful, transformative work of the project across County Donegal and the border regions.

Digital Storytelling: Documenting community workshops, artist residencies, and public events, translating complex cross-border narratives into accessible, compelling digital stories.

Contract Details

We envision the role to work alongside our marketing team from Summer 2026 until Spring 2027. The role will be a dynamic and varied freelance position. Therefore, specific times of work, event coverage, and content creation schedules will be agreed upon as required with the Project Manager, Noeline Kavanagh.

Please break down your fee into an hourly rate, half-day rate, and full-day rate.
