Youth Theatre Ireland presents Youth Theatre Island!
Three youth theatres from across the island come together in An Grianán to perform pieces that have been written for, written by, or devised by youth theatres. The show will last around one hour and each youth theatre will perform for 10-15 minutes each. The age range for these performances is 12+ and is a great chance to see what youth theatre is all about. The performances will be free admission.
In partnership with Theatre and Dance NI, Youth Theatre Ireland are bringing 3 youth theatres from across the island to perform at An Grianán. The youth theatres performing will be: An Grianán Youth Theatre, Sligo Youth Theatre and Kildare Youth Theatre.
The show will last around one hour and each youth theatre will perform for 10-15 minutes each. These plays have been devised or written for and by young performers! The age range for these performances is 12+ and is a great chance to see what youth theatre is all about.
After the show, we will run a Youth Theatre taster workshop for any young person aged 12- 18 who is currently not in a youth theatre or involved in the creative arts. It will be an hour-long workshop run by an expert facilitator who will engage everyone in their own sense of play, help them to make new friends, and introduce them to drama games specifically designed for them!

About Cruinniú na nÓg
Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18.
