IADF attracts participants from all around the world, and for this event we will present some of these international artists as well as few homegrown artists too.
‘Aetherbound’ – Rosie Macari & Lila Naruse
Aetherbound is an aerial dance duet between Rosie Macari & Lila Naruse that follows a journey of two women trying to navigate and re-connect to their roots. Rooted in Greek mythology, the title reflects the spiritual space between earth and sky (the aether) as well as the idea of being physically or emotionally connected. At its core, Aetherbound explores shared experiences of disconnection, belonging and our relationship to our natural world and the environments we inhabit.
