Enjoy popular classical pieces, performed by young string players from the Donegal Music Education Partnership under their conductor Victor Yélamo.
The Donegal Junior Strings Orchestra will play for under an hour. It’s the perfect opportunity for children (and adults) to see string instruments in action at close quarters, including the violin and its bigger relations, the viola, cello and double bass.
Presented as part of this year’s Wainfest, and as part of the annual Donegal Chamber Music Festival. The Donegal Chamber Music Festival features three weekends of classical music concerts, featuring soloists, locally-based musicians and much-loved classical music pieces. It will showcase the present and future of classical music in Donegal.
