Richard Gibson is Director of Finance at Donegal County Council. He is one of the two nominees of the Chief Executive of Donegal County Council to the Board of Letterkenny Theatre Management Company. Richard has over twenty years experience working for Donegal County Council in many different roles across Finance, Internal Audit, Housing, Community & Enterprise, Culture and Planning services.
Richard is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a fellow of Accounting Technicians Ireland (FIATI). He holds an MSc in Leadership and Innovation in the Public Sector (LYIT/UU), a Bachelors Degree in Business and Accountancy (NUI) and diplomas in Internal Auditing (IIA) and Local Government Studies (IPA).
Richard has a keen interest in film and music, having played and recorded with a number of bands over the years.
