An Grianán Theatre celebrates 25 years in 2024 and as part of our celebrations we are granting free access to selected shows suitable for national schools during 2024.
This reflects our deep commitment to community and nurturing the next generation’s love for the arts. By eliminating financial barriers, we aspire to kindle creativity and empathy in young hearts. Our pledge is simple: cultural experiences are a right, not a privilege.
Our goal is to ensure the magic of the stage is accessible to all, laying the foundation for a future generation of passionate theatregoers.
Our first shows to be part of this scheme are The Land of a Hundred Little Hills in January and Geppetto in April.
The Land of a Hundred Little Hills
Presented by Ceol Connected, this show is inspired by Patrick Kavanagh’s A Christmas Childhood poem and features a combination of live music, puppetry and animation. You can find out more about it here.
Geppetto
From Northern Irish company Amadan Ensemble, Geppetto is a non-verbal production, featuring physical comedy, puppetry and music. This fun and hilarious new show is suitable for children aged 6yrs +, and audiences with diverse needs. Find out more here.
