Grasshoppers Day is a special day of events for children ages 0 to 6 and their carers. It is presented by the Grasshoppers International Early Years Festival, an annual festival that takes place in Dublin.
For their day here in An Grianán they’ll be presenting three events: Vintage Voices with Cliodhna Noonan features music and story for babies ages 0 to 2 years while Louise Conaghan of Play Make Believe presents a theatre show called Eithne The Adventurer for ages 0 to 4 years. The final event is Jungle Art workshop with artist Akvile Simanskiene suitable for ages 0 to 6.
All events are free but places are very limited. Advance booking a must. Children must be accompanied by an adult so don’t forget to book a ticket for yourself too.
Grasshoppers IEYF is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, Our Balbriggan and Fingal County Council.
